Free YouTube Workouts That Helped Me Lose 37 Pounds at Home!
Cancel that gym membership, Momma. You can reach your fitness goals at home for FREE! I know it sounds too good to be true. I mean if it were that simple, wouldn’t everyone be reaching their fitness goals? Why are gyms even still in business?! Well honestly, some like the gym atmosphere and the equipment they can use there, and that is what they are paying for. However, there is really nothing stopping you from reaching your fitness goals in the comfort of your own home. I lost 37 pounds working out in my living room with YouTube videos. I did not have to pay a cent for any of the workouts I used, and I still saw MAJOR progress in my fitness journey.
*As always, speak with your doctor before participating in any fitness program*
Free YouTube Fitness Channels
First, I’m going to share some of my favorite YouTube fitness channels with you. If you are on the free version of YouTube, your workout may be interrupted by an ad or two. If this really bothers you, you can sign up for YouTube Premium for an ad-free experience. Personally, I put up with the ads, and just use them as a water break.
POPSUGAR Fitness
POPSUGAR Fitness is my all-time favorite fitness channel on YouTube. The variety is unreal. It really doesn’t matter who you are or what you are into because they have it all. They also tend to incorporate warm ups and cool downs in their videos which is key to preventing injury that will hamper your progress.
Grow With Jo
Grow With Jo is my runner-up. Jo is so inspiring and just radiates joy through the screen. I also find her to be very relatable for moms. She has a little boy the same age as my firstborn, and lost 50 pounds after having her son. She does not have the same variety as POPSUGAR, but all of her workouts are a lot of fun. Jo makes doing her videos feel as if you are not actually working out, but they are still extremely effective!
Pregnancy and Postpartum TV
Pregnancy and Postpartum TV was my go-to for postpartum workouts geared at healing diastasis recti and general postpartum fitness recovery. This channel is also great for maintaining your fitness throughout pregnancy. I used this Pregnancy and Postpartum TV channel a lot during my second pregnancy also, and I absolutely saw the benefits. I am convinced that keeping up my fitness level during pregnancy helped me to have an easier labor the second time around.

Now Work it Out Momma!
Now you have access to many of the same videos I used to lose 37 pounds after having my first baby. If I can do it, so can you! I lived a relatively sedentary lifestyle for eight years before getting my health and fitness on track. I did this for me, and I did this for my babies. I knew that improving my fitness would improve both my physical and mental health. I wanted to be the absolute best version of myself for my daughter. This has continued to keep me motivated. There are absolutely going to be days where you are tired, and the last thing you are going to want to do is workout. I encourage you to remember your why. Remember why you are doing this. Then, push yourself to get up, turn on your tv, and get moving with a YouTube workout. You will feel so incredibly proud of yourself, especially on those days where you would have rather skipped your workout.
You’ve so totally got this, Momma!
